What’s Included in the Program:

Set the Foundation.

You will learn all about the History of Joseph Pilates and how the exercises were ordered in a logical sequence. We’ll break down the fundamentals and make sure you’re set up for success.

Learn about the Body.

Anatomical knowledge is necessary for any Pilates Teacher. By knowing the names of muscles and what they do, you can better understand how movement works and can better assist your client. It also gives you a language for you to understand common contraindications and health concerns your clients may have so you can safely modify and adapt to their needs.

Embody & Understand the Technique.

The exercises are very layered. By learning, practicing, observing and teaching, you will feel the movement and begin to understand how exercises build on one another. You’ll be able to take them apart and add complexity depending on your client’s needs.

Knowing the History, Anatomy, and Exercises are a great start to any teaching program, but there are more skills you will need in order to succeed.

    Learning how to communicate to your client is essential. Not only will we look at different learning and teaching styles, but you’ll also learn how to use your hands, voice, imagery, themes, flow and more to adapt to your client’s needs and goals.

  • Business Skills

    How are you going to market yourself once your training is done? Learn how to attract the ideal client, set up your own studio, teaching online and also set-up some important items such as insurance, business licenses, and more. Let us help you build a career you can get excited about.

  • Life Skills of the Pilates Teacher

    Confidence is achieved through practice, repetition, and positive feedback. Our faculty will nurture and support your development in finding your OWN teaching voice. You will also learn how to manage work/family/personal life and keep your teaching fresh and enjoyable.

With this state-of-the-art hybrid learning program, you will be learning through a combination of online learning, live virtual training, and an in person seminar. You are not limited by geography and students from across the world are encouraged to attend.

The curriculum is very detailed and guided, with weekly master classes/Q&A with a faculty member so you are set-up for success. The program has both theory and practical components so you can embody the material and practice your teaching skills right from the start.

  • We expect you to come fairly new, keen and eager! We are inclusive and welcome all backgrounds, ages, genders, & ethnicities. We do require you have at least some prior Pilates experience, good body awareness, general computer competency, and a strong work ethic. This program is physical and you will be moving a lot. Please discuss with the faculty if you have any movement limitations that may be of concern.

  • You will need to take 20 Pilates classes or lessons with a certified teacher. 50% of those hours can be in your home town (and yes, we can help guide you) and 50% will be required to be with us. Please book a discovery call and we can discuss how you can make it work where you live.

  • Your tuition includes: all virtual learning materials, virtual textbook and app, weekly masterclass, online community, all quizzes, exams, mentored teachings, in person seminar and final exam. It does NOT include trainee liability insurance, lessons & classes required for internship and exam retake fees.

  • This program is 12 weeks long (and it will go by quickly) so you need to be ALL IN and game ready. The weekly requirements will change & evolve as we go but students should expect to allocate an average of 10 hours/week towards their studies.

  • Yes. After your $500 deposit, you can break down your remaining balance into 3 instalments in Months 1, 2 and 3 of the program. This payment plan option includes a $350 financing fee.

  • Step 1: Book a complimentary call with the faculty and see if it’s a good fit for both you and the program.

    Step 2: Fill out the online application form at the bottom of this screen. Once received, we will send you the link to process a $500 CAD non-refundable program deposit to reserve your space.
